Yahoo! Mail is now available in eight Indian languages, this will include: Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi and Gujarati.

The latest Yahoo Mail version is now available in 22 new languages. As per the statement, the service was rolled out simultaneously in 27 new markets, including 16 new countries, taking the total number of languages in which Yahoo Mail is available to 46 in 70 markets worldwide.

The new yahoo version comes with various features like applications that help people be more productive and organised.Users can reply instantly to messages from contacts on their Facebook, Yahoo Groups and Yahoo Mail accounts, besides other email providers, through a new reply bar. Furthermore, the new “update tab” allows people to view and share notifications and updates from social networking sites Twitter, Facebook and Zynga.

Its SpamGuard technology and anti-phishing technology can reduce spam reports and help protect users from email hackers and unwanted instant message conversations..

Its automatic slide show feature allow users to view photos and videos from sites like Flickr, Picasa, and YouTube from within their email messages.

One can also chat with Facebook friends alongside Windows Live and Yahoo! Messenger contacts and view all of their past IM and text conversations within Yahoo! Mail.
