MICROSOFT DYNAMICS CRM 2011 INSTALLATION ERROR: INSTALLATION OF MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME FAILED. EXIT CODE: 5100. RESULT: ASIA

Hi friends, Recently in our organization I have to prepare demo of  Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. Here we are using SQL Server 2012. All Prerequisites are configured on server. Now I run Microsoft dynamics CRM 2011 setup, and got this

Error:

Installation of one or more missing prerequisite components failed. For additional details see logfile C:\Users [username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs\crm50svrsetup.log

If you open the log file, you will see this error message: “Installation of Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime failed. Exit code: 5100. Result: Asia“. Reason behind this error is the version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable installed on your machine, Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable installed on your system has newer version than the one included in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.

Solution:

The solution is to uninstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable both 32-bit and 64-bit version through Control Panel >> Program and Feature and then re-run the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 setup file.
