Reporting Services Catalog Database File Existence

Hi friends, recently I am trying to reinstall SQL Server 2016 Developer edition on my system. As earlier version is SQL Server 2016 Release Candidate 2. During installation I got this error Reporting Services Catalog Database File Existence & Reporting Services Catalog Temporary Database File Existence. I already faced this error so many time, but never documented it, today i have done so. Let’s move on to how to solve this.

Now head on to Data directory of relevant SQL Server: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL13.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA.

Remove the following files:

ReportServer.mdf
ReportServer_log.LDF
ReportServerTempDB.mdf
ReportServerTempDB_log.LDF
